What goes into any mechanical watch, as we think about it.
Brushed, polished, bright-cut. Steel takes light differently depending on how it's finished, and a crisp edge between two finishes is half the look.
Crystal, ring, dial, movement. A watch is a stack of parts measured in hundredths of a millimetre, and every one of them has to sit flat.
Engine-turning: one line, repeated and rotated until it becomes a texture. Old machinery, still the best way to make metal catch the eye.
